The University is an institutional member of the Association for Learning Technology (ALT), the UK’s leading professional body for learning technology. It runs the annual ALT-C conference; offers professional accreditation and access to a wide range of resources and CPD events. Register here to activate your account and access these benefits.

The University also holds institutional membership of the Media & Learning Association, an international membership body that promotes the use of media and digital technologies to enhance innovation and creativity in teaching and learning. It offers an annual conference, various online events in addition to organisational members benefits such as access to special interest groups (SIGs), resources and good practice, networking and partnership opportunities. Any St Andrews member of staff can apply to join a SIG here, using their @st-andrews.ac.uk email address.

Jisc services underpin much of the University’s activities, across learning & teaching, research and infrastructure. The University’s membership provides access to a wide range of resources, training, shared services, tools, initiatives and communities. Recently, the University participated in the Digital Transformation (DX) pilot scheme.
